In September of 1996 I had two dreams involving infant boys.
In the first dream I watch as a baby laughs and rolls around playfully on the floor. I get down on the floor and begin laughing and rolling around on the floor in imitation of him. I feel very playful and happy.
In the second dream I lift a baby out of an infant seat on the floor. As I do this, I hear a voice whisper, "I love you," in my ear. I then embrace the baby lovingly.
I associated the two pictures on this page, drawn in October or November of 1989, with my dreams. The first image directly relates an infant with the sun. Both of the images of the sun in these pictures remind me of my crucible of gold dream, and the presence of the sun I sensed in my dream of four rainbows.
I had my first dreamabout the sun on November 11, 1990. In this dream I join a large groupof men. We are all waiting for the sunrise. I see the sun first, we hadall been looking to the right of the spot where the sun comes up. I call out to the others and point to where the sun is rising.
The first picture I can find in my journal which contains a prominent sun image was drawn in March of 1990. In this picture I hold a gold grail in my hands, lifting it toward the sun. I had seen the grail suspended before me, and surrounded by light, on January 12, 1987. I awoke from this dream just as I reached out for the grail. I associate the grail I could not reach in 1987 with the crucible in which I stirred gold in 1995.
I liked getting down on the floor to play with the baby, and I've been remembering some ways I played as a child.
